Yunnan Aluminum Constructs World First Inert Cathode Aluminum Line

SHANGHAI, Nov. 28 (SMM) - Yunnan Aluminum constructed 150,000-tpy 300kA large curved cathode aluminum production line at its Runxin Aluminum Subsidiary, according to alu.cn.

Service life of its electrolytic cell is over 500 days longer than doemtic average level, which helps lower unit electric consumption and increase current efficiency.

The production line has passed examination and is world’s first large curved cathode aluminum production line.
